Siblings

Making space for the sibling who carries more than anyone realizes

You might be wondering:

  • My child is angry, embarrassed, or resentful of their sibling.
  • How do I support all of my children?
  • How do I explain the needs of all my children to each other?
  • How do I build community for each of my children?

This unique experience comes with challenges, but it also comes with opportunities. Sibshops is an evidence-based program designed to address both.

As a Certified Sibshops Facilitator, I bring specialized training to support siblings of children with higher needs. We talk about complicated emotions like guilt, embarrassment, resentment, or feeling invisible while we work toward building tools for creating community, pride, and advocacy to strengthen sibling relationships.
