Self Esteem

Supporting kids and teens who feel like they’re not good enough, so they can start to believe they are.

You might be noticing:

  • My child avoids things they’re not immediately great at; they’d rather not try than risk failing.
  • My child is saying "I can't" before they even try.
  • One small worry snowballs into something huge and horrible.

This kind of black-and-white thinking can be frustrating, both for your child and for you. Underneath it is often fear: of failure, of falling behind, of not being good enough.

In therapy, we gently challenge those rigid beliefs and build your child’s tolerance for trying, learning, and growing, even when success isn’t guaranteed. Together, we’ll help them shift from “I can’t” to “I’m still learning,” and develop the confidence to take on new challenges.

My office is a space designed for young people to feel successful  and accepted being exactly who they are.
